And just like that, HMD has unwrapped two new Nokia feature phones out of the blue – the Nokia 150 and the Nokia 150 Dual SIM variant.
Touted as “affordable and durable”, these new feature phones can be seen as HMD’s soft-launching of the long-stagnant Nokia brand back into the spotlight.

The Nokia 150 series also features a polycarbonate shell for its casing which is “hard-wearing” and has “scratch-resistant color”. The phones also come pre-loaded with that classic Snake Xenzia game familiar to old-school Nokia fans.
Sure, they’re not smartphones, but at a suggested price tag of $25 (~Php 1.5K) a handset, the new Nokia 150 phones are an interesting ultra-budget option – provided they’re indeed as durable as HMD claims them to be.
HMD is aiming for a rollout of the Nokia 150 series for the APAC, IMEA, and European markets in Q1 2017. Any takers?
