The MateBook X Pro 2024 has Core Ultra 9, Weighs Under 1kg

While everyone is waiting for Huawei to unveil the P70 series, they announced a new MateBook X Pro 2024 in China that’s featherweight at under 1kg (980 grams to be specific) and can be configured with up to a Core Ultra 9 processor.

Aimed towards rivaling the MacBook Air, the MateBook X Pro 2024 is also thin at 13.5mm, and has configuration options that include up to 32GB RAM and up to 2TB of storage.

Aside from being configurable with up to a Core Ultra 9 processor, the MateBook X Pro 2024 comes with a 14.2-inch OLED display that has a 120hz refresh rate, 1000nits peak brightness, and a 3120×2080 resolution. The display also has touch support with up to 10 fingers. Keeping the lights on is a 70wHr battery that supports 140w charging. Huawei claims that a 10-minute top-up is enough to give you 3 hours of use.

Connectivity includes two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3, while its webcam has a 1080p resolution and works together with 4 microphones and 6 speakers.

The first sales for the MateBook X Pro 2024 will be on April 18, and it remains to be seen if Huawei will make them available outside of China.
