LG Launches Q6α, Q6 and Q6+ Mid-range Phones

LG’s full vision display shows up on other phones

LG has officially launched a whole array of phones armed with their new “FullVusion” technology in their new Q6 lineup. Three new phone models have been released under the name: the Q6, Q6α and the Q6+, all with 5.5-inch full HD+ FullVision displays (2160x1080p resolution), aluminum bodies and differing internals.

All three phones get a Snapdragon 435 processor, along with a 3000mAh battery. The biggest difference here is RAM and storage options – the Q6a is the runt of the litter, with only 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage available. The Q6 is the middle child, with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, while the Q6+ is understandably the best of the three, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. All three phones get expandable storage options along with a single 13-megapixel rear camera with a 5-megapixel wide-angle shooter.

All three phones are slated to be released in key markets in Asia in August, followed by an expansion to Europe, Latin America and North America. No pricing has been set as of yet.
