LG Officially Launches the 5.7-Inch V20 Premium Phablet

Unbox 127 - LG V20

LG’s premium phablet and Galaxy Note 7 rival, the V20 has now launched. We reported leaked specs earlier, and most of them hit the mark in some form or another. Let’s take a closer look at whether the mighty V20 is powerful enough to take on Samsung’s controversial Note 7.

The LG V20 will be the first device to sport the newly released Android 7.0 Nougat. LG also said that the V20 will offer “the best video and audio experience” due to their partnership with B&O Play and the phone’s 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC (digital to analog converter) chip.

A quick look at the spec sheet tells us that LG designed the beastly V20 for photo enthusiasts – dual rear cameras – and audiophiles – that snazzy 32-bit Quad DAC chip. Those traits are probably the smartphone’s most obvious advantages over rival Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

The V20 is expected to hit the shelves in Korea, Hong Kong, and Singapore later this month, while the US and other countries will have to wait later this year. Stay tuned for pricing details.
