Motorola Returns To The Philippines With Moto G 5G Plus, Razr 5G In December

It’s been around two years since Motorola stopped selling smartphones in the Philippines, but the brand is coming back strong in 2020, bringing along a mid-range challenger and a high-end flagship phone with it. To celebrate its return, it’ll be offering its mid-range Moto G 5G Plus and its flagship Razr 5G.

And while we already knew that the Razr 5G would be expensive (it is a folding phone after all), Motorola’s Moto G 5G Plus is incredibly priced for what it offers.

Here’s a short rundown of Moto G 5G Plus:

We’ve already talked about the Motorola Razr 5G before, but here’s a quick rundown on what you can expect from the second-generation foldable from Motorola:

Motorola RAZR 5G Quick Review: Second Time’s The Charm?

The Razr 5G comes in at a mouth-watering Php 72,990 when it lands in December, which isn’t at all surprising for what you’re getting.

What is surprising is the Moto 5 5G Plus pricing: the phone will be priced at Php 16,990 when it hits stores. That’s a solid price tag for what it offers, and conveniently undercuts the sticker price of OnePlus’ Nord, which was originally priced at Php 21,990. The delayed launching in December though is a bummer, but good things come to those who wait, we guess.
