Despite all the issues it is facing, HMD Global announced two new Nokia phones with the X30 and G60. Both phones come with a 5G-ready Snapdragon 695 processor–a big upgrade over the Snapdragon 480 used by their predecessors.
The X30 gets a frame that’s made out of reycled aluminum, and comes with a 90hz Full HD+ AMOLED display–the last Nokia device to use AMOLED was the 9 PureView. The rear cameras are simplified with a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. Keeping the lights on is a 4200mAh battery with support for 33w charging.
The G60, on the other hand, is made from recycled plastic and has a bigger 6.58-inch IPS display with a 120hz refresh rate. It comes with a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 50-megapixel main camera (which has a smaller sensor compared to the one used on the X30), 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. It gets a bigger 4500mAh battery, but its limited to 20w charging.
