As mid-range 5G devices, both the X10 and X20 come with a Snapdragon 480 processor. The Snapdragon 4-series processor is a big jump over the previous-generation Snapdragon 460 with more powerful cores, a newer GPU, and an updated ISP that has native support for 64-megapixel cameras.

Both phones come with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ IPS display with a centrally-placed punch-hole, a 4470mAh battery with 18w charging, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. HMD Global’s main selling point for the X series–aside from Zeiss optics–is that they are guaranteed 3 years of software upgrades. That is a big deal for a mid-range phone, and it means that both the X10 and X20 will get Android 12, 13, and 14 in the future.

While both phones come with Zeiss optics, the X10 only gets a 48-megapixel main camera and 8-megapixel selfie snapper, while the X20 has a better 64-megapixel main camera and 32-megapixel selfie snapper. Both come with a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a pair of 2-megapixel cameras.
