Samsung Debuts Big-Batteried Galaxy M31 in India with 64-Megapixel Main Rear Camera

Subtle upgrades from the big-batteried budget mid-range phone

Samsung is in a streak of launching new phones, this time focusing on the Galaxy M series with the Galaxy M31. While it retains the Galaxy M30s‘ key specs like a 6000mAh battery with 15w charging and 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, the Galaxy M31 gets a better quad-rear camera setup comprising of a 64-megapixel main camera, 5-megapixel depth sensor, 5-megapixel macro camera, and 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.

For the internals, the Galaxy M31 uses an Exynos 9611 processor paired with either 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. Lastly, it comes with Android 10-based OneUI 2.0 out of the box.

Samsung Galaxy M31 specs

The Galaxy M31 is priced at Rs 14,999(Php 10.6k) for the 4GB/64GB model and Rs 15,999(~Php 11.4k) for the 6GB/128GB model in India. Since the Galaxy M30 was sold in the Philippines as an online-exclusive, there’s a chance that the Galaxy M31 might reach our shores as well.
