The HONOR 80 and 80 Pro Feature 160-Megapixel Cameras

Aside from the Magic Vs, it’s a big day for HONOR as it announced the 80 Series–with an SE model tagging along with it. All three phones come with curved OLED displays, 66w charging, and Android 13-based MagicUI 7.0.

The vanilla and Pro models share the same design, use Snapdragon processors and come with a new 160-megapixel main camera, along with a 4800mAh battery. The Pro model gets a 6.78-inch display with a 2700×1224 resolution and an underclocked Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, while the vanilla model comes with a 6.67-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution and a Snapdragon 782G.

The Pro has a pill-shaped cutout that houses a 50-megapixel selfie camera and 2-megapixel depth sensor, along with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and 2-megapixel depth sensor. The vanilla model has a lower-resolution 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.

The SE, on the other hand, shares the same curved display and selfie camera as the vanilla model but has a less capable triple rear camera setup that consists of a 64-megapixel main camera, 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. Powering it is a Dimensity 900–a strange move considering the Dimensity 1080 already exists.
