vivo’s iQOO 5 Series Bring 50-Megapixel Gimbal-Assisted Main Cameras, 120Hz Displays

vivo updates its iQOO line of gaming phones once again with the iQOO 5 series. Coming in vanilla and Pro models, the iQOO 5 retains the same hardware found on the iQOO 3 but now come with curved AMOLED displays with 120hz refresh rate and 240hz response rate, along with a triple rear camera setup highlighted by a 50-megapixel Samsung GN1 camera with the same gimbal stabilization system found on the X50 Pro.

What differentiates the two? Aside from the more curved display, the iQOO 5 Pro gets a smaller 4000mAh battery with vivo’s 120w wired charging solution, along with an 8-megapixel periscope camera with 5x optical zoom. The Pro model also gets snazzy color options: either a carbon fiber-inspired back or a motorsport-inspired one with racing stripes.
