ASUS is bringing the ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro to the Philippines, and is doing so with a collaboration with PUBG: New State. For the collaboration, ASUS ROG and PUBG: New State will be hosting a series of matches, where a prize pot of gaming gear worth over $50,000 is at stake.
The campaign will feature a series of 100-player tournaments across the EMEA and APAc regiengs, along with the participation of over 20 top influencers across the globe. These influencers will both join the battle and live stream the matches as well. The prizes are as follows:
- 1st place – ROG Strix Scar 17 and ROG Phone 5s Pro with AeroCooler
- 2nd place – ROG Phone 5s with AeroCooler + ROG Delta Headset
- 3rd place – ROG Phone 5s with AeroCooler

To recap, the ROG Phone 5s is an upgraded version of the ROG Phone 5, where you get a more powerful Snapdragon 888+ processor on board, with up to 18GB RAM and up to 512GB of USB 3.1 storage.
Like the non-s model, the ROG Phone 5s has a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a fast 144hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and a 300hz touch sampling rate. The ROG Phone 5s has an RGB light panel on the back, while the ROG Phone 5s Pro has a touch sensor and an ROG Vision monochrome PMOLED display.
ASUS will reveal the official price and availability of the ROG Phone 5s series in the Philippines on December 8.
