As it continues to serve the needs of Filipinos for fast, stable internet, Converge announced at their “Yan ang Internet” Event that they are updating their FiberX Plans with higher speeds.
Here’s a breakdown of the updated FiberX Plans:
- FiberX Plan 1500 – 50Mbps (from 35Mbps)
- FiberX Plan 1500 Xtra – 60Mbps (from 45Mbps)
- FiberX Plan 2500 – 300Mbps (from 100Mbps)
- FiberX Plan 3500 – 800Mbps (from 200Mbps)
Aside from the updated main FiberX Plans, Converge revealed that their Time of Day Plans gets updated as well with new pricing and higher speeds as well. Here’s a quick recap:
- FiberX Time of Day Plan 2000 (formerly Day Plan 1899) – 200/100Mbps Day plan and 100/200Mbps Night Plan (from 35/70Mbps)
- FiberX Time of Day Plan 3000 (formerly Day Plan 2799) – 600/300Mbps Day plan and 300/600Mbps Night Plan (from 200/100Mbps)
Do note that all plans have a lock-in period of 24 months and a Php 2,500 installation fee. As for the speeds, Converge promises a 30% minimum speed at 80% reliability. Current Converge subscribers with no overdue balance and have updated their account information here can avail of the speed upgrade permanently; they will receive an SMS or email from the service for instructions on how to upgrade their plans
The updated speeds are part of a promise from Converge CEO Dennis Anthony Uy once they reach their target subscriber count for 2021.
