After making a soft announcement last month, Globe makes its GFiber Prepaid service official to the public as an affordable fiber internet service for the masses. With an intro price of Php 1499 for the modem, installation, and 7 days of unlimited Fiber internet, Globe aims to make fiber internet accessible to everyone.
Globe CEO Ernest Cu even emphasized during the launch that offering prepaid fiber internet is a big opportunity for them. Mirroring the general demographic with mobile users, Cu said that a big majority of Filipino households prefer a prepaid plan that has no lock-in periods or contracts. This is crucial, as some Filipinos prefer to have flexibility even with internet services–so that they can have an easier time allocating their hard-earned money for household expenses.
Aside from making GFiber Prepaid affordable, Globe also made the application process easy and hassle-free: all they need is the GlobeOne app to file for their application and practically everything–from monitoring installation updates to buying data packs–can all be done through the GlobeOne App.
As for data packs, Globe is offering three GFiberSurf data promos that include 299 for 7 days, 549 for 15 days, and 999 for 30 days. All three data promos come with unlimited internet access. Globe recommends a simultaneous connection of around 6 devices for optimal upload and download speeds for the whole household.
