Globe Announces GFiber Prepaid Fiber Internet: How to Apply

As promised last month, Globe officially announces its prepaid fiber internet offering with GFiber Prepaid. An offering that will be competing against Converge’s Surf2Sawa, Globe’s GFiber Prepaid aims to offer fiber-speed internet to the masses, where affirdability and flexibility is the priority. How to apply for GFiber Prepaid? Globe also addressed that, by digitizing the whole application process through the GlobeOne App.

Whether it’s for work, education, or setting up an online business, GFiber Prepaid is here to make that leap possible, all while staying within budget,”  Globe at Home Vice President Raymond Policarpio said in a press release.

Aside from offering “sachet internet”, Globe is also making GFiber Prepaid accessible with a combination of no lock-up, unli pay-per-use promos, and buy now, pay later with GCash. The latter is the a major selling point of GFiber Prepaid, as i allows users to pay up to a 24-month installment using GGives or by using GCredit with up to a Php 50,000 credit line.

Those who plan to get GFiber prepaid will pay a introductory offer of a one-time fee of Php 1,499 that includes installation and 7 days unlimited internet. From there, customers can choose from any of GFiber’s promos: GFiberSURF299 for 7 days, GFiberSURF549 for 15 days, and GFiberSURF999 for 30 days.

Applying for GFiber Prepaid is done through the GlobeOne app. Here’s how to apply for GFiber Prepaid:

  • Download the GlobeOne app.
  • On the GFiber page, type in your complete address to check if the area is serviceable.
  • Fill up the digital application form and choose the date of modem installation (if GFiber is available in your area). No documents required upon application, just present a valid ID to the Globe At Home team on the day of installation.
  • Pay your installation fee. You may pay via GCash, with GGives and GCredit accepted as mode of payment.
  • Submit your application. Be on standby for the Globe technician’s home visit to install your GFiber Prepaid modem. You may also track your technician via the GlobeOne app.

Aside from the GlobeOne App, customers may also apply for a connection via the following Puregold branches: Puregold Price Club- Tarlac Public Market, Puregold Price Club-Butuan, Puregold Price Club-Silang in Cavite, Puregold Price Club- Monumento in Caloocan City, and Puregold Price Club-Oton in Iloilo.

GFiber Prepaid will be available nationwide, and is subject to serviceability.
