How to Register your GOMO SIM through the new GOMO App

With less than a week to comply with SIM registration, the Philippines has barely registered 50% (41.32% specifically) of total SIMs as of April 14. Users still have a few days to register their SIM to avoid facing deactivation. While Smart, DITO, and Globe have revealed their procedure for registering SIMs to their networks, GOMO recently revealed details on how to fully register your SIM with the use of their new app.

If you’re a GOMO user and you’re confused, we detail the procedure that you need to do to have your SIM registered.

Download the new GOMO PH App.

By this point, you cannot use the old GOMO app—when you try to open it, you will be prompted to download the new GOMO app. You know that you’re downloading the right app when the app is described as “new GOMO PH”

Login your GOMO number through the app.

After downloading the new app, you log in using your GOMO number and your 6-digit PIN. You will more or less receive a notification saying that you haven’t fully registered your SIM—which brings us to the next step.

Start verifying your information.

GOMO will ask to verify your birthday, name, address, and email.

Upload your IDs and submit.

After verifying your information, you will be asked to upload a photo of your government ID, along with your own selfie. After that, make sure that all of the information you input is correct and accurate before submitting.

Receive verification from GOMO

Once everything is verified, you will receive a unique code as proof that your GOMO SIM is registered.

That wraps up the tutorial on how to register your GOMO SIM. Assuming you followed all steps, registration should take you roughly 5 minutes. Do note that TODAY is the actual start of SIM registration for GOMO, so it might take a while for you to get yours registered. As of writing this tutorial, we are facing difficulties in registering our GOMO SIM, and we hope the issues get resolved before the DICT’s strict April 26 deadline.
