LIST: Canceled Flights in the Philippines due to Typhoon Betty

With typhoon Betty (international name Mawar) entering the Philippine Area of Responsibility today (May 27), airlines have begun making announcements regarding canceled flights. Here’s a list of affected flights–keep this page in your tabs as we will update it throughout the next few days.

Cebu Pacific has yet to issue an advisory on canceled flights due to typhoon Betty, but there are reports that some flights today have been canceled.

Based on its 10 AM bulletin, PAG-ASA said that typhoon Betty was spotted 1,170 kilometers east of Central Luzon and that it has raised signal number 1 in the following areas:

“Betty is forecast to remain as a super typhoon over the weekend. Although it will likely maintain its strength for the next 36-48 hours, short-term intensification is not ruled out, especially in the next 12 to 24 hours,” PAG-ASA said in its latest bulletin.
