OPPO Finishes 2023 With Launch of New Reno11 series

OPPO is wrapping up 2023 with the announcement of the Reno11 series in China. This time, there’s no Pro+ version: instead, you only get a standard and Reno11 Pro model.

The Reno11 Pro shares a lot of similarities with the Reno10 Pro+ that launched in the Philippines save for a slightly slower 80w wired charging and a 32-megapixel portrait telephoto camera instead of a 64-megapixel periscope camera. Otherwise, the Reno11 Pro is an upgrade over the local Reno10 Pro with its use of a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and a 1.5k resolution on its curved AMOLED display.

The standard Reno11 is the more interesting device. Aside from using a Dimensity 8200–a big upgrade over the local Reno10’s Dimensity 7050–it uses an all-new 50-megapixel LYT-600 sensor that has an f/1.8 aperture and OIS. We don’t know much about the LYT-600, but if it’s a toned-down version of the LYT-808 used on the Find N3, then the Reno11 might have a significantly better camera performance than the Reno10–assuming OPPO brings over the same model to the Philippines.

The standard Reno11 starts at CNY 2499(~Php 20k) for the 8GB/256GB model, while the Reno11 Pro starts at CNY 3499(~Php 28k) for the 12GB/256GB model. We hope that OPPO will bring the same models to the Philippines should they plan on making a global release of the Reno11 series.
