While it’s widely speculated that the POCO F5 will be the global version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, Qualcomm has confirmed that the POCO F5 will be using the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, which marks the first time Qualcomm’s new mid-range chip will be made available outside of China.

If that’s not enough, the POCO F5 was spotted on Geekbench having 12GB of RAM and further confirming the use of a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor. This means that there should be at least a 12GB/256GB variant for the POCO F5, and it remains to be seen if a 16GB/1TB variant will be made available as well.
Given that the POCO F5 will more or less be based on the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, we expect it to have a 6.67-inch 120hz AMOLED display that supports 12-bit color and HDR10+, along with a 5000mAh battery that supports 67w charging. It will have stereo speakers AND a headphone jack as well.
As for the cameras, the triple rear camera setup of the POCO F5 is expected to have a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. POCO has yet to announce when the F5 will launch in India, but given that Qualcomm confirmed its existence, the launch might happen in the next few days.
