Pacsafe Metrosafe 200 Messenger Bag Review

We received a lot of messages about the Pacsafe Metrosafe 200 Messenger Bag when we first featured it here on Unbox a few weeks back. We got at least 10 PM’s and e-mails asking where they could buy one. Given the level of interest we decided to do a quick review to show why we think this is one of the best bags out there, especially for peeps who always have several mobile devices with them.

How much stuff can you put in it?

For this post we won’t tackle anymore the material used or the anti-theft features since we already talked about that in the first article. Let’s focus on how much stuff it can actually hold!

For starters let’s go over all of the pockets and compartments.

The main compartment is found at the top protected with a zipper. Inside you'll find a divider so that you can be more organized with what you put in it. This is perfect for 10-inch devices like tablets and netbooks.
At the back you'll find another compartment with a zipper. Ideal for quick access items like your wallet, money clip, etc.
At both sides of the bags there are cylindrical pockets you can use for compact umbrellas or water bottles. This is expandable.
If you open the flap (it's held by velcro) you'll find two major compartments. One is open that doesn't have a zipper.
Open up the zipper and you find a pouch with two pockets with velcro straps. This is ideally for your phones, hard drives, iPods, etc. There's also another pocket at the back of that which you can put other smaller peripherals like cables.

The Challenge…

With all of the pockets we just showed do you think all the devices in the photo below will fit the Pacsafe Metrosafe 200?

Can we put all of this in the Pacsafe Metrosafe 200?

We have there the following: Samsung Galaxy Note, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Samsung Galaxy WiFI 5.0, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, FiiO E17 Alpen, SwiftPoint Mouse, Jays v-JAYS Headphones, Leather Custom Money Clip, S Pen Holder Kit, Samsung HM5000 Bluetooth Headset, Samsung Galaxy Note Battery Charger Stand, Divoom iTour-Pop Portable Speakers, MacBook Pro Adaptor, micro-USB charger, and a bunch of cables. Here’s another photo of all the stuff:

That's... a lot. Lol.

Challenge accepted!

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with it's Bluetooth Keyboard Case goes into one division of the main compartment.
Divoom iTour-Pop Speakers and SwiftPoint Mouse goes in the other flap of the main compartment
Galaxy Note, Galaxy Nexus, and Galaxy WiFi 5.0 fit comfortably in the front zipper pocket. You can even put in a few more USB drives there or maybe your car keys!
FiiO E17 Amp, Jays v-JAYS Headphones, and the cables go into the other pocket under the flap (the one with no zipper). All other cables and the Leather Wallet goes to the zippered section at the back.
As for the S Pen Holder and the Samsung HM5000 we found the perfect place for them -- the side pockets. 🙂

Pacsafe Metrosafe 200 = Epic Win

The Pacsafe Metrosafe 200 takes in all the gadgets we listed above! This is definitely an awesome bag. Even our cat, Tiffy, likes it!

The Pacsafe Metrosafe 200 is definitely one of the best non-laptop messenger bags out in the market. It’s made from great material, has anti-theft features, and it can hold so much stuff in an organized manner. You’d think this bag would set you back at least Php5,000 but that’s not the case! The Pacsafe Metrosafe 200 sells for just Php3,400+ here in the Philippines. That’s a very good price given the over-all quality of this bag.

Pacsafe products are available in department stores and in Travel Club. To ask about stocks and availability just head on over to the Pacsafe Philippines Facebook Page.

Two thumbs up!
