The 2022 Isuzu MU-X has arrived in the Philippines and its price revealed. Unfortunately for people eagerly awaiting for the next generation SUV, the new model’s price represents a huge jump in its SRP across all variants. With the next-generation model, you will have to shell out at least P1,590,000 for the base variant.
At present, you can get the Isuzu MU-X for as low as Php1,350,000 and up to Php2,155,000 for the top-of-the-line variant. This pricing has made the midsize SUV from Isuzu very competitive in the Philippine market. However, things are about to change as the next-generation model is noticeably pricier than its predecessor.

Considering the prices above, it seems that the 2022 Isuzu MU-X is more expensive by roughly Php300,000. A difference you can’t just overlook. However, there is no reason to get disappointed as the next-generation model added quite a lot of bits and pieces compared to its previous model.
For one, the top-of-the-line LS-E unit comes with even more advanced safety and convenience features such as forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, turn assist, adaptive cruise control, eight-speaker sound setup, and automatic high beams.
Moreover, all variants now get a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. They will also have a 6-speaker set up for a better sound experience.
As for the engine, the same 3.0L and 1.9L turbo-diesel engines will be offered for the 2022 model. Said 3.0-liter Blue Power turbodiesel has an output of 187Hp and 450Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the 1.9-liter Blue Power RZ4E turbodiesel is capable of 148Hp and 350Nm of torque. Engines are paired to either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
The 2022 Isuzu MU-XÂ will be available in five colors: Marrakesh Brown, Satin White Pearl, Onyx Black, Mercury Silver, Splash White. Take note that prices are subject to change without prior notice.
