Ford just announced the launch of the 2022  Ford Ranger. It will be next year, although some markets may get it late this year. Along with the announcement, they provided a photo and teaser of the all-new Ford Ranger.

Pickup trucks are among the favorite vehicle choices of Filipinos. The competition in the local pickup truck segment is tight. However, Ford is doing well with its Ranger lineups. In fact, the Philippines is the leading contributor in total Ranger Raptor sales across ASEAN markets with a 64 percent share, and across Ford’s International Markets Group with a 37 percent market share all over the past years. 

That said, Ford is pushing further to remain as competitive as ever. This year, they are introducing the all-new model of the Ford ranger. Check out this video they provided.

The truck is still camouflaged in the video, which is not actually surprising. Ford doesn’t want to reveal everything before its launch. However, based on the video, the new model can be seen to have a front end that is closely similar to its bigger brother Ford F-150. It also has a C-shaped LED DRLs around the headlights and a huge back panel at the center. More importantly, this new model looks bigger than the current outgoing model. 

The 2022 Ford Ranger appears to be more badass overall and we cannot wait to see it in person. As of now, there is no official announcement from Ford Philippines yet as to when this new model will arrive on our shores. Rest assured we will update you once there is progress.
