Has anon gone too far?

Maine Mendoza, one-half of the insanely popular love team Aldub, has had her Twitter account hacked by hacker collective Anonymous Philippines. Maine’s Twitter account, which so far has 2.4M followers, was seen to be posting several messages and a photo that calls netizens to join their Million Mask March event.

“Sorry po if napadaan kami sa account ni yayadub, ibabalik din namin to sa tunay na may-ari…” read a Tweet on Maine’s account, which we assume to be from Anonymous Philippines.

Maine’s Twitter hack is just one more cyber-attack that Anonymous Philippines has managed to pull off this year. The hacking collective earlier defaced the website of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) for the slow speeds and unreliable internet service of ISPs in the PH.

???? Ummmm…. That’s not how it works dude. *sigh*

Anonymous PH hacks celebrity account, everyone loses their mind.

    The Philippines in a nutshell.

What a condescending piece of shit. This is intrusion into a personal account of a private citizen similar to tresspassing. If anything, this could be the paraffin test to the cybercrime prevention act of 2012 which until now seems to be a little too theoretical.

but not the way i’m saying.

INVASION OF PRIVACY will always be WRONG. Kahit anong cause pa yan. The end does not justify the mean. Instead of gaining sympathy, nawala ang tiwala ng tao sa #Anonymous, They hold the power of hacking and they used it wrong. Ang mali ay mali. No excuses. Wag na ikatwiran at itwist pa.
