ASUS expands its VivoBook Pro line in the Philippines with the arrival of the Pro 15 OLED and Pro 16X OLED. Both laptops are focused on creators and feature OLED displays, NVIDIA RTX GPUs, and the latest processors from Intel and AMD.
As a flagship model under the VivoBook line, the Pro 16X OLED comes with a 4K OLED HDR display that has a 16:10 aspect ratio and support for Dolby Vision. It’s also certified for DisplayHDR True Black 600, and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, making it meet the strict standards of creators when it comes to color accuracy.
A key feature of the VivoBook Pro 16X OLED is ASUS’ DialPad, which is a rotary control on the touchpad that can be customized to control various parameter adjustments with compatible software like Adobe Creative Suite. You also get a Core i9 processor that’s paired with 16GB DDR5 RAM and 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD–both having additional slots for expansion.
Keeping the internals cool is ASUS’ IceCool Pro, which consists of a dual fan design and four external vents. The VivoBook Pro 16X OLED comes with a comprehensive port selection that includes two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, HDMI 2.0, USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, USB-C ThunderBolt 4 port, Ethernet port, combo audio jack, and a microSD Express 7.0 slot. Keeping the lights on is a 90wHr battery.
The VivoBook Pro 15, on the other hand, boasts of a 2.8k 120hz OLED HDR display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and can be configured with up to a Ryzen 7 5800H processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 512GB PICe 3.0 SSD, and an RTX 3050 Ti GPU. The port selection consists of a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, USB-A 3,2 Gen 2 port, two USB-A 2.0 ports, microSD card reader, and HDMI 1.4 port. Keeping the internals cool is ASUS’ IceCool Plus, where you have 8mm and 6mm heat pipes and dual fans.
The VivoBook Pro 16X OLED is priced at Php 159,995, while the Pro 15 OLED starts at Php 67,995 for the model with a Ryzen 5-5600H processor and RTX 3050 GPU.
