DITO Telecom Launches Their All-New GALING DITO Program

DITO Telecom celebrated a milestone today by hosting an event at the Manila House Member’s Club at the heart of BGC. It was a festive occasion to commemorate several company milestones and announce new campaigns befitting of the upcoming Independence Day.

The first and largest announcement is that the company has hit 9 million subscribers. This is a monumental step from the telecom’s humble beginnings and major revamp last year.

Brand & Marketing Director Jasper Evangelista then went on to explain the Galing DITO concept. Its aim is to “embolden and empower Pinoy talents” to showcase why they are proud to be Filipinos. This is through the support of local creators, artists, and others. It is a movement of “dance, movement, and artistry as a unified digital movement on this platform.” The also proudly announces a special event to be held on the 12th of June, which is Independence Day.

Despite these moves, DITO Telecom reiterates that it still prioritizes delivering speedy, consistent, and improving connectivity to its user base and subscribers. Considering the pace that the company is treading at, we wouldn’t be surprised at a larger market share by next year.
