For its subsidized internet, the local city government of Gapan is offering a fiber internet connection at Php 50/month with a speed of 5mbps. The internet subscription is owned by the local city government.
While the internet speed is not as fast as most fiber or broadband services, Pascual’s initiative is a good example of providing much-needed internet access to its residents at a time where the majority of them are confined at their homes.
