Huawei to Bring MateBook 14s and Nova 9 to the Philippines

Huawei is bringing two new products to the Philippines soon with the MateBook 14s and nova 9. The MateBook 14s is an upgrade to Huawei’s premium laptop line, as it gets a 90hz display and a high-performance 11th-gen Intel Tiger Lake-H processor that can be pushed to a maximum TDP envelope of 45w. It also retains the same, familiar aluminum body that houses two USB-C ports, a USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, a full-size HDMI, and a headphone jack.

With the higher TDP of its processor, the MateBook 14s employs two shark fin fans and two heat pipes, along with a hinge inlet design that promises as much as 25% better air intake. Keeping it running is a 60wHr battery that charges through a compact 65w USB-C charger. Like other MateBook 14 models, the MateBook 14s also has a 14.2-inch display with a 2.5k resolution, a productivity-focused 3:2 aspect ratio, 100% sRGB coverage, and a 10-point touchscreen interface. In addition to that, all MatePads with HarmonyOS 2.0 can be used as a secondary display for the MateBook 14s.

On the other hand, the Nova 9 is Huawei’s next upper mid-range phone. It comes with a Curved OLED display with a 120hz refresh rate, along with a 50-megapixel RYYB main camera, Snapdragon 778G processor, and 66w wired charging. Here’s a roundup of the Nova 9’s spec sheet:
