The Lenovo Phone Duel is the newest gaming phone to enter the country, slated to do battle with an already established brand and device line for the hearts (and money) of hardcore mobile gamers. We’ve already done a pretty in-depth look at the phone’s performance in our full review here if you want to see how it performs in our test labs.
The phone has all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a gaming phone of this caliber, including a Snapdragon 865+ gaming chipset, a large 6.65-inch 144Hz refresh rate, custom cooling solutions to keep the phone nice and cold when gaming, as well as a side-mounted selfie camera optimized for streaming.
The device has side-mounted virtual triggers ala ASUS’ ROG Phone 3, though it lacks the robust accessory system of its competitor.
What the Phone Duel lacks in accessories it makes up for in price though, as it’s cheaper than ASUS’ ROG Phone 3: the top-tier Vengeance Red variant with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage comes in at just Php 49,995. The same configuration for the ROG Phone 3 retails at Php 54,995.
The Blazing Blue 12GB/256GB variant is even cheaper, coming in at just Php 39,995.
