It is not just Converge who announced speed increases across all their plans: PLDT also revealed that they are increasing the download speeds across all their Home Fibr Plans as well.
Fibr Plus, which includes 3 mesh WiFi points and a landline with unlimited calls to any PLDT number, now has a top-tier Plan 9999. The new plan offers 1000Mbps speeds–one of the highest internet speeds you can avail in the Philippines right now.
Plan 2399 and Plan 4099 get speed upgrades at 100Mbps (from 50Mbps) and 600Mbps (from 200Mbps) respectively.
The Fibr Unli Plans also get a speed upgrade as well while still having a bundled landline with unlimited calls to any PLDT number. Here are the updated speeds:
- Unli Fibr 1699 – 50Mbps (from 35Mbps)
- Unli Fibr 2099 – 100Mbps (from 50Mbps)
- Unli Fibr 2699 – 300Mbps (from 100Mbps)
- Unli Fibr 3799 – 600Mbps (from 200Mbps)
- Unli Fibr 9499 – 1000Mbps (new plan)
Aside from higher speeds, those subscribed to Asenso Fibr Upgrade Plan 1999 and up will also get a free speed boost until December 31. Added features of Asenso Fibr plans include backup WiFi, a landline with unlimited calls to any PLDT number, and access to e-commerce partner solutions.
In addition to that, PLDT announced that all current Fibr subscribers will benefit from the new speeds as well.
