realme expands the 8 series in India with the 8s 5G and 8i. Both phones rock the latest MediaTek processors: Dimensity 810 for the realme 8s 5G, and Helio G96 for the realme 8i.

Both phones come with a punch-hole for the 16-megapixel selfie snapper, two 2-megapixel cameras on the back (one is B&W, while the other is a macro camera), up to 128GB internal storage, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 5000mAh battery, and Android 11-based realmeUI 2.0 out of the box.
The realme 8s 5G can have up to 8GB RAM and has the same display found on the realme 8 5G: a 6.52-inch Full HD+ IPS display with a 90hz refresh rate. It also comes with a 64-megapixel main rear camera, along with 33w wired charging. The realme 8i, on the other hand, has a 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS display with a 120hz refresh rate, along with a 50-megapixel main rear camera and a slower 18w charging solution.
The realme 8s 5G is priced at INRÂ 17999(~Php 12.3k) for the 6GB/128GB and INRÂ 19999(~Php 13.6k) for the 8GB/128GB model. The realme 8i, on the other hand, is priced at INR 13999(~Php 9.6k) for the 4GB/64GB model and INR 15999(~Php 10.9k) for the 6GB/128GB model. The 8i is now available in India, while the 8s 5G will be available on September 13. No word if both models will be sold outside of India.
