In 2022, there is no doubt that Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram still reign as some of the top social media sites. It is worth mentioning though that when you see people out there dancing to the latest craze on the street, it’s usually not because of those three. Standing as the fourth giant is TikTok – and now Smart is providing free access to the platform, bundled with selected prepaid promos.
Smart has a Free TikTok for all program currently activated. It provides users who register to selected prepaid promos of up to PHP 99 a free 1GB of data to use on TikTok. This isn’t a one-day occurrence, as the complimentary data allocation will refresh for every day the promo is active. So for example you have a PHP 90 promo that lasts 7 days, then that’s a total of 7GB worth of TikTok content over that timeframe.
Meanwhile, those who enlist in prepaid promos valued at over PHP 99 will have unlimited access to TikTok as long as the promo is active. That’s a steal of a deal and we’re sure many will be drawn to Smart’s services because of it.
As with all “unlimited data” plans, we’re going to have to be careful with it. Usually, after a certain threshold is reached, the data speeds considerably slow down. This could hold true especially because TikTok is not easy on data consumption figures. We’ll have to see how the telecommunications giant implements its newest program. If this goes well, then Smart could very well keep its spot as the top company in the Philippines for 2022.
