Motor Image Pilipinas, the official distributor of Subaru vehicles in the country, promised to bring in the much-awaited sports car late this year. Although no official statement has been released, the all-new 2022 Subaru BRZ is already listed on the brand’s official website with its official price here in the Philippines.
The all-new model is now part of Subaru Philippines’ official vehicle lineup. However, technical details have not been made available on the website. Clicking on the vehicle will simply redirect you to a registration form that you can fill up with your details so that you will be notified once the model becomes available.
Fortunately, most of the technical details have already been revealed during its global launch in November last year. To recap, it now has a 2.4-liter flat-four boxer engine that is capable of producing up to 231 horsepower and 249 Nm of torque. Moreover, the platform has 50 percent more torsional stiffness, thanks to the extensive use of aluminum. Inside, the cabin is loaded with more technology including a 7-inch digital dashboard and an 8-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Overall, it’s still the same affordable sports car with minimal weight and a low center of gravity.

As for the price, the 2022 Subaru BRZ has a price of Php 2,399,000 for the MT variant and Php 2,499,000 for the AT variant. Expect Subaru Philippines to accept reservations in no time.
