Right before 2021 comes to a close, TECNO announces the Spark 8 Pro with a number of upgrades. Compared to the Spark 7 Pro, the Spark 8 Pro gets a performance bump with its use of a Helio G80 processor, along with a much-faster 33w wired charging.

Aside from the bumps in processor and charging speed, TECNO is finally giving the Spark series a Full HD+ resolution for the Spark 8 Pro’s display, making the budget phone a more compelling device to consider. On top of the resolution upgrade, the Spark 8 Pro’s display is slightly bigger and moves the punch-hole to the center–still housing an 8-megapixel selfie snapper.
Like its predecessor, the Spark 8 Pro also has a headphone jack, a 5000mAh battery, Android 11, and a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 48-megapixel main camera, 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an AI camera.
The TECNO Spark 8 Pro will be available in India on January 4 for INR 10,599(~Php 7.3k).
