vivo updates its entry-level offerings in the Philippines with the arrival of the Y01. vivo’s new budget phone has an updated design that mirrors current smartphone trends. The camera module houses an LED flash and an 8-megapixel shooter, while the back panel features a pinstripe design.
The Y01 comes with a 6.51-inch HD+ display with a notch for the 5-megapixel selfie shooter, while a 5000mAh battery keeps the lights on. The Y01 supports reverse charging, allowing you to charge smaller gadgets like wireless earphones.
Powering the Y01 is a Helio P35 processor that’s paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It comes with a Go version of Android 11-based FunTouchOS 11 out of the box. vivo’s Multi-Turbo 3.0 comes standard, letting you make the most out of the Y01’s internals for daily use.

The vivo Y01 is priced at Php 5,299 and is available at all vivo stores in the Philippines. It will be available exclusively at vivo’ Shopee store from April 30, and will be available at vivo’s Lazada store two weeks later. The first 1000 customers will receive a pair of FOMEE earphones with their purchase.
