Among the many things NVIDIA announced during its COMPUTEX Keynote is the specifications of its RTX GPUs for Small Form Factor (SFF) systems. This new form factor incorporates a 2.5 slot design to make its powerful GPUs fit inside these compact PC systems. ASUS is one of the first brands to announce SFF-specific RTX GPUs under its Prime Ecosystem.
The lineup for ASUS Prime RTX includes the RTX4070 Super, RTX4070, and RTX4060Ti. These compact GPUs are outfitted with a triple fan cooling system and are designed to fit compact PC builds. They are also part of the ASUS Prime ecosystem that’s aimed towards budget-conscious PC gamers.
These GPUs are just 50mm thick and 269mm long, which comply with NVIDIA’s guidelines for its SFF-optimized GPUs. Aside from having three fans, there’s also a vented backplate to further optimize airflow and to keep noise levels and temperatures well managed. The GPUs have a physical Dual BIOS switch that allow for switching between performance and quiet modes on the fly.Â
These GPUs complement ASUS’ Prime ecosystem with its classic black and white color blocking and minimal RGB LED lighting. They go well with other Prime products like the X670E-Pro WiFi motherboard for AMD systems and the AP201 chassis, which is a microATX tower with either a tempered glass or mesh side panel options.
The ASUS Prime family of RTX GPUs will be available soon in the Philippines.
