People are Going to Think You’re Cheating with the ROG Harpe Ace Extreme and Azoth Extreme

ASUS has gone extreme with their new gaming mouse and keyboard, dubbed the ROG Harpe Ace Extreme and Azoth Extreme, which the company recently announced during COMPUTEX 2024. Aimed at e-sports enthusiasts and the sweatiest of gamers, both give players an almost unfair advantage when it comes to competitive gaming.

Let’s talk about the Harpe Ace Extreme first. It’s essentially the lightest wireless mouse you’ll find on this side of the planet, measuring a measly 47 grams despite sporting an internal battery, wireless transmitter, and all of ASUS ROG’s tech under the hood.

The Harpe Ace Extreme achieves that astonishingly low weight because of its extensive use of carbon fiber composite in the top shell, which coincidentally also makes it extremely tough–it’ll survive being thrown at a wall when you take another L in ranked.

Since it’s so light, it’s easy to make those flicks in competitive FPS games–so easy in fact that your typical MW lobby will be calling for your ban as soon as you hand them their asses in your next TDM scrim. The Harpe Ace Extreme’s DPI and polling rates sound ridiculous, thanks to the ROG Polling Rate Booster technology, which allows it to achieve impressive numbers: 8,000 Hz polling and a ludicrous 42,000 DPI.

The Azoth Extreme meanwhile is a gaming keyboard that ASUS threw the kitchen sink at. This keyboard is made with a combination of aluminum, carbon fiber silicone pad, a Poron switch pad, and Poron dampening foam, and is topped off with metal leaf springs inside the chassis. The most eye-catching feature of the Azoth Extreme is the OLED panel on the side that can be customized and gives you a glimpse of what’s happening inside your battle station’s components in real-time, including overall temperature.

No prices have been set for the ROG Azoth Extreme and Harpe Ace Extreme as of yet, but since these are essentially high-end gaming peripherals from one of the most recognizable (and desirable) brands on the planet, you can expect both of these things to be up there when it comes to price.
