MSI Added Ukiyo-E Japanese Artwork to the Prestige 13 AI+

MSI is unveiling several new laptops at COMPUTEX 2025, but what caught our attention is the Prestige 13 AI+ Ukiyo-e Edition. As the name implies, this version of the Prestige 13 AI+ has a Japanese artwork on its lid that features the famous “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” by Katsushika Hokusai.

The unique print on the Prestige 13 AI+’s lid is made possible with a partnership with Japanese lacquerware company OKADAYA. Making the collab cool is that it combines traditional Yamanaka lacquer artistry with technology–in this case, the AI features found on the Prestige 13 AI+. MSI also includes special merch with the iconic Japanese artwork for the mouse, laptop sleeve, and bag tag.

MSI did not disclose the specs of the Prestige 13 AI+, but it’s expected to have up to a Core Ultra 9 (Series 2) processor, 32GB LPDDR5X, a 13.3-inch 2.8K OLED display, and a 75wHr battery that supports 65w charging. It is a Copilot+ PC and weighs only 990g with its magnesium-aluminum chassis. Other features of the Prestige 13 AI+ include a 5-megapixel webcam with an IR sensor, dedicated Copilot key on the keyboard, and a robust port selection that includes 2 USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, an HDMI port, and a MicroSD card reader.

There’s no word about the availability of the Prestige 13 AI+ Ukiyo-e Edition, but expect very limited quantities of this unique laptop.
