The Radeon RX 9060 XT is AMD’s Answer to NVIDIA’s RTX 5060

AMD wants to match NVIDIA’s $299(~Php 17k) RTX 5060 by unveiling the Radeon RX 9060 XT GPU at the same price point. AMD one ups NVIDIA with its offering, as the RX 9060 XT promises 1440p gaming with FSR 4 ML-enhanced scaling and accelerated ray tracing.

As AMD’s entry-level GPU, this entry-level GPU is based on RDNA 4 with 32 compute units and 8GB or 16GB of GDDR6 memory. Its architecture is a smaller version of the one used on the RX 9070 series. It has a maximum clock speed of 3.13Ghz and a starting TDP of 150w. Other key specs include a PCIe 5.0 connection, DisplayPort 2.1a and HDMI 2.1b display outputs, and support for FSR 4.

AMD claims that the RX 9060 XT’s 16GB version is 6% faster than the 16GB RTX 5060 Ti based on 40 games running at 1440p Ultra resolution. That translates to around 15% higher performance per dollar. For context, the RTX 5060 TI’s SRP is $379 for the 8GB version and $429 for the 16GB version.

The RX 9060 XT starts at $299 for the 8GB version and $349(~Php 20k) for the 16GB version, and will be available soon from leading board partners including Acer, ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte, PowerColor, Sapphire, Vastarmor, XFX and Yeston.
