AnTuTu: ZTE nubia Red Magic 8 Pro+ Is World’s Fastest Android Phone

Some say benchmarks don’t matter, and they’re right to a certain extent. A truly premium experience boils down to a wonderful combination of hardware, software, and other elements. However, it’s definitely still fun to check out who can crank out higher peak numbers under stress and load. It’s somewhat of a flex for the tech nerds out there. Well, according to AnTuTu, the Red Magic 8+ Pro is the world’s fastest Android phone.

Just like the six smartphones below it, this device carries the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. (Except for the Galaxy devices as they have Snapdragon for Galaxy variants)

It’s the only device in this list to crack the 1.3 million point barrier when it comes to AnTuTu scoring, now proclaimed as the fastest phone. It also has 16GB of UFS 4.0 RAM and 512GB of onboard storage.

Curious about its other advantages over the vanilla 8 Pro that was just made official for a local launch? This holds a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits of peak brightness. Its main camera sensor is a 50-megapixel shooter, accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultrawide and 2-megapixel macro lens. The supporting cameras feel very midrange-esque, but we can’t say the same about the main sensor’s performance just yet. Also, the 16-megapixel selfie camera can be found under the display.

Other notable features include a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 165W charging, Bluetooth 5.3, 8K video recording, stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The others on this AnTuTu fastest phone list are all ultra-flagships as well. One thing’s for sure – you won’t be looking for more power with ANY of the devices on this list.
