The country’s third telco DITO expands to Luzon today after initially being offered in limited areas in Cebu and Davao. The DITO Luzon expansion includes six provinces, namely: Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, and Tarlac. They are now serving a total of 21 areas including Cebu and Davao, effectively boosting their presence in the country.
“We are very excited to announce that in just a few weeks after our commercial launch in Cebu and Davao, more Filipinos can now experience stronger and reliable connectivity with DITO’s Luzon expansion”, Adel Tamano, Chief Administrative Officer of DITO said in a statement on Friday.

And while DITO has officially expanded to Luzon, being able to buy and acquire their SIM to use is still quite a challenge. DITO initially offered their SIM for purchase on their site when they first launched, and there have been reports of delayed, and unfulfilled deliveries from the site. This has been sorted somewhat by the brand setting up shop in Lazada.
Before jumping with DITO, we’d also advise you to check if your phone is compatible with their network.
