Five months after the announcement of iQOO Z5, the iQOO Z5x is already official in China. Let’s find out what this new model is all about.
The iQOO Z5x comes with a 6.58-inch FullHD+ 120Hz LCD display. The rear camera is 50 megapixels with 2 megapixels macro, while the selfie camera is 8 megapixels. Underneath, there is a Dimensity 900 SoC paired with either 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. Storage is either 128 GB or 256 GB. Moreover, the smartphone has a five-layer liquid cooling system to keep things cool even under heavy use. Other features are 5G, WiFi 6, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Power-wise, the Z5x has a 5,000 mAh battery that charges through a USB-C port. According to iQOO, the smartphone has a charging speed of up to 44W, hence it comes with a 44W adapter that can charge it from zero to 58% in just 30 minutes.

The iQOO Z5x has a price tag of CNY1,599 (~Php 12.7k) for the 6GB/128GB variant, CNY1,699 (~Php 13.5k) for the 8GB/128GB variant, and CNY1,899 (~Php 15.1k) for the 8GB/256GB variant. Preorders in China will start today, October 20, through vivo’s official website and online retailers, including JD.com and Suning.com.
