Nothing debuts ear (1) with Unique Transparent Casing

After being teased for a few months, Nothing finally debuted their first product with the ear (1) TWS earbuds. Making them stand out is their transparent design, where both the charging case and earbuds are made from clear plastic to give a clearer view of the internals of the ear (1).

The ear (1) comes with 11.6mm dynamic graphene drivers that are housed on a 0.34cc chamber. They support Bluetooth 5.2, along with SBC and AAC codecs and Google Fast Pair. Like most TWS earbuds, the ear (1) features touch and slide gestures for controlling playback and toggling ANC. For the latter, the ear (1) offers two levels of ANC on top of Transparency mode.

Despite being light at 4.7g per earbud, the ear (1)’s design comes with an ergonomic design that has pressure-relieving vents and liquid silicone tips. The ear (1) is workout-friendly too with their IPx4 rating.

The ear (1) works on both Android and iOS devices with its companion app, where you can customize the touch gestures, adjust the equalizer, toggle ANC, and update the earbuds.

Nothing claims that the ear (1) can last for up to 4 hours on a single charge with ANC on and up to 5.7 hours with ANC off. The included charging case lets you use the earbuds for up to 34 hours–a relatively large figure for a pair of TWS earbuds in terms of battery life. Topping it up is done via USB-C or wirelessly with any Qi-certified charger.
