The realme Pad is an amazing option in the budget tablet space. It provides a seamless experience that is relatively compromise-free at a budget price point, which is impressive given that it’s the company’s first attempt at the form factor. Due to this, there was some hype that surrounded the tablet at launch, and consumers bought into it. Unfortunately, the team drew some flak recently due to rumors that the newly-released realme Pad won’t be receiving the Android 12 update. Not anymore.

Thankfully, the team listened to the clamors of the people and decided to rescind this decision. The company told Android Authority that the tablet is now set for one update in the Q3 release window. In addition to that, they’ve guaranteed three years of security updates. We’re not exactly sure if they’ve only promised 1 update for the realme Pad, but it’s a start. With this action, they’ve shown that they do listen to their customer base.
