Toyota Motor Philippines just posted a teaser of a car which seems to be the Toyota Veloz. This “compact SUV” according to the company will enter the Philippine market anytime soon.
The Toyota Veloz is actually the top-of-the-line variant of the Toyota Avanza in other Asian countries. However, the differences are drastic enough to put the Toyota Veloz on a different level.
Outside, the Veloz has a different set of alloy wheels that are a lot sportier. It also has a different set of bumpers and lights. Even the front grille is different.
As for the interior, it comes in a two-tone black-and-white finish. It also has a two-tone fabric and leather upholstery, ambient lighting, wireless phone charger, nine-inch infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (eight inches on the lower models), and a seven-inch digital instrument cluster.
The Veloz is also one step ahead of Avanza in terms of safety. It is equipped with Toyota Safety Sense which features a pre-collision system, automatic high beam, lane-departure alert, blind-spot monitor, and rear-cross traffic alert.
According to reports, the Toyota Veloz will launch on April 22, 2022 in the Philippines. Also, it will be available in two variants: G and V. Prices are unknown yet.
