If you want a sporty scooter that can help you zip around from point A to point B in style (and comfort), Xiaomi unveiled its ultimate electric scooter at MWC 2023 with the Electric Scooter 4 Ultra. This is the first time Xiaomi is using the Ultra branding for its electric scooters, and this model is filled to the brim with top-notch specs.

To start things off, the Electric Scooter 4 Ultra uses a dual-suspension system to give users a comfortable ride by reducing vibrations. The new suspension system complements the 10-inch tubeless, self-sealing tires for an improved riding experience.

Having an Ultra branding also means much more powerful internals as well, as it packs a new brushless motor that provides 940w of power, giving it a maximum speed of 25Km/h and making it capable of handling inclines of up to 25%. Inside the Electric Scooter 4 Ultra is a 561.5wH battery that’s rated for 70km. Using the included 124w power adapter charges it to full in 6.5 hours.

Being a sporty electric scooter, you get an S+ mode on top of the usual Sport, Standard, and Pedestrian modes. The S+ mode unleashes the maximum power of the Electric Scooter 4 Ultra: 0 to 25km/h in just 4 seconds! That gives it sportscar-like vibes–something you’d never expect in an electric scooter, but Xiaomi thinks “why not!?”

Of course, the Electric Scooter 4 Ultra is not just all about speed: its aluminum alloy frame that supports a maximum payload of 120kg and an IP55 rating so that you’ll not worry about running it across water puddles.

With all those features, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Ultra does not come cheap: it has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is the same price for the base variant of the Xiaomi 13. That translates to roughly Php 58k when converted, making the Electric Scooter 4 Ultra a very premium (and sporty) electric scooter.
