It’s no secret that Filipinos have love for the best deals, and those include prepaid promos which users can get the most out of their money from. Telcos have recently stepped up their prepaid game to cater to those who look for longer validity while retaining what people love on shorter-term promo subscriptions. We looked for each of the telcos’ best long-validity promos they can offer, and here’s what we found.

 

Smart

Smart surprisingly has longer validity periods of its All-network prepaid promos. The most visible is just up to three months, but fiddle a bit with your Smart app and you get these Super Long promos:

• All-Net 60D – Php 499 (60 days of Unli All-Net Calls and SMS, plus 4GB data)
• All-Net 90D – Php 599 (90 days of Unli All-Net Calls and SMS, plus 6GB data)
• All-Net 180D – Php 999 (180 days of Unli All-Net Calls and SMS, plus 8GB data)
• All-Net 360D – Php 1,999 (360 days of Unli All-Net Calls and SMS, plus 12GB data)

The longer your subscription is, the bigger savings you get on a promo pack with the 360-day All-Net promo offering only a whopping Php 167 per month for those services. The data pack is just right for standby work-related stuff from my experience as I recently concluded a 3-month subscription on my work phone, and the mobile data was just enough to check emails, download a few attachments, and converse with workmates on our Microsoft Teams, Viber, and Messenger channels.

They also offer all-access mobile data packs valid for up to three months:

• All Data 30D – Php 299 (24GB for 30 days)
• All Data 60D – Php 499 (24GB for 60 days)
• All Data 90D – Php 599 (72GB for 90 days)

With the 90-day offer, you get 72GB of all-access data for only Php 8.32 per GB, compared to the Php 12.46 per GB on the 30-day plan. You can also have the option to auto-renew your All Data promo subscription, which gives you enough replenishment when your current subscription is coming to an end.

There’s also GIGA Power Everyday, which recently began to offer longer data packs:

• GIGA POWER 499 – Php 499 (2GB everyday for 30 days + extra 24GB)
• GIGA POWER 649 – Php 649 (2GB everyday for 60 days + extra 36GB)
• GIGA POWER 999 – Php 999 (2GB everyday for 90 days + extra 48GB)

The new GIGA POWER offers are some of the best in the market in terms of value, with a Php 4.38 price per gigabyte of data over the 90-day period.

DITO

DITO does not directly have longer-validity prepaid promos as most on their portfolio are only available for up to 30 days. However, the telco managed to give something similar to a long-validity promo by offering DITO Advance Pay, where you get to pay for up to a year’s worth of prepaid promos in advance, giving you fewer worries about your all-net calls, texts, and accompanying mobile data.

What DITO does is it discounts a few percentages off the total price for longer validity periods. You get discounts as big as 40% off if you subscribe to a 365-day promo. That gives DITO users as low as PHP 4.61 per GB of data, along with other call and text perks.

Globe

We checked Globe Prepaid promos, but we have not found any that goes beyond 30 days.
