The 2025 Vivobook S16’s biggest strength is its battery life. Armed with a 70wHr battery that ‘s capable of up to 32 hours of battery life, the 2025 Vivobook S16 impressed us when it managed to last us over 8 hours–or an entire work day–on a single charge despite having a 16-inch display. That’s a feature digital nomads and those who have hybrid work setups will love, as this means they can focus more on their work without worrying about running out of juice and running to the nearest outlet to charge.

Charging this laptop is easy with its support for 65w USB-PD charging. This also means that you can charge it with a power bank that supports USB-PD, making it handy for digital nomads who also bring a power bank in their EDC.

Aside from battery life, the 2025 Vivobook S16 impresses with its Snapdragon X processor. It may be the base variant under the Snapdragon X series, but this processor is very efficient when you’re doing productivity or multimedia work. We’ve used the 2025 Vivobook for batch editing photos in Lightroom, and it breezed through the process like we were using an Intel or AMD equivalent model.

Support for ARM on Windows 11 has also improved, with more apps having native support so that you don’t need to worry about your most-used apps not working properly. We’ve used Lightroom, Spotify, Slack, Viber, and Chrome extensively, and their performance is just as good as running them on an x86-based laptop.

Being a Copilot+ laptop with the Snapdragon X’s built-in NPU that offers 45TOPS, this laptop is capable of running key AI programs like Copilot, Recall, and Click-to-Do seamlessly. With these AI programs, you get to be more productive with your work while being more efficient at the same time.

Of course, we would not forget its 16-inch display that gorgeous for its price. ASUS used a high-quality IPS panel for the 2025 Vivobook S16 that has a 144hz refresh rate, 2.5K (2560×1600) resolution, and a decent brightness range that’s good enough for using the laptop outdoors. Colors are pleasant and vibrant, and we enjoyed watching our favorite KPop music videos on the 2025 Vivobook S16. Complementing the display are stereo speakers that just sound as great.

Being a laptop that’s geared towards productivity, the 2025 Vivobook S16 covers the essentials. On top of having 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB PCIe 4.0 storage that’s upgradable, you also get a decent port selection with two USB-C 4.0 ports, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, HDMI port, and a headphone jack to cover all the accessories you need to keep yourself productive without worrying about dongles.

While it is more of a budget offering, the 2025 Vivobook S16 has a Matte Gray metal lid and bottom cover to make it premium-looking, and it has a huge trackpad that’s a pleasure to use. It’s also thin and light at 1.59cm and 1.74kg respectively, and also durable too with a military certification, ensuring that the 2025 Vivobook S16 can withstand most environments.

The 2025 Vivobook S16 with a Snapdragon X processor is priced at Php 50,995. It comes bundled with an ASUS Backpack, lifetime Office Home 2024 access, and a 1-year Microsoft 365 Basic subscription. Accompanying these incredible bundles is ASUS’ Service Package that features 2-year International Coverage and 1-year Accidental Damage Warranty.
