It’s Not All About the Display
The Vivo V7+ is finally out in the Philippines! We have the review unit and it’s already going through the wringer but, before we go through all the pros and cons of the device, here’s a list of everything we think the Chinese company did right so far.
Full View Display
We can’t start off this list without bringing up the most glaring change to Vivo’s selfie-centric smartphone. Just a hair under 6-inches, the 18:9 HD+ IPS Full View display offers more screen real estate for browsing through your favorite websites and thumbing through your social feeds.
It may not have a jaw-dropping pixel density, but it’s definitely a looker.
24-Megapixel Selfie Camera
Another thing that we can’t fail to mention is the selfie shooter on the V7+. You no longer have dual front cameras on the V7+ but the large megapixel count should be able to give you some of the best self-portraits with a mid-range device.
Qualcomm 450 Proccie
Yes, we’re probably going hear complaints about why they didn’t put a 600 series chip on this device, but the 450, paired with an ample 4GB of RAM, is more than capable of handling moderate use; not to mention putting a Snapdragon 600 series SoC would have jacked up the price and we don’t want that either.
We already have a series of articles for the newly released mid-range device from Vivo, so make sure check them all out.
