Here’s some good news: vivo is making the 4GB/64GB variant of the Y16 more affordable by giving it a Php 1k price cut. Because of that, the Y16 now has a new SRP of Php 6,999. That makes the Y16 more competitive as an entry-level phone with an 8.19mm slim body and a sleek dual-circle camera module that has a 13-megapixel main camera and 2-megapixel depth sensor.
Despite its slim body, the Y16 packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 10w USB-C charging, along with a 6.51-inch HD+ display and a Helio P35 processor. To make the most out of its internals, the Y16 has vivo’s Multi-Turbo 5.5 to reduce lags in games even while other apps are running in the background.
Other features of the Y16 include flat frame sides, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a brushed back panel finish, and Android 12-based FunTouchOS 12 out-of-the-box.
Should you need more internal storage, the Y16 is also available with a 128GB option, which still retails for Php 8,999. The price cut for the 4GB/64GB variant of the Y16 applies starting today.
