Xiaomi has dropped a bombshell before the official launch of mid-year sales today, launching its affordable Redmi 9A in the Philippines.
The Redmi 9A is a budget phone oozing with value, packing a large 6.53-inch panel with a water-drop notch, MediaTek Helio G25 processor, 13-megapixel rear camera as well as a massive 5000mAh battery.
Because of the budget price of the new phone, it lacks many of the features of its more expensive brethren, like fingerprint scanners or a Full HD+ screen.
The phone does come with Android 10 along with the company’s MIUI 12 overlay and will be available in three colors: Grey, Blue, and Green.
Priced at just Php 4,690 for the 2GB/32GB version, the phone will drop in Lazada and Xiaomi Global Store on Shopee starting on the 15th. Buyers on that date will get a small Php 100 price cut, so there’s never been a better time to buy a budget phone than now.
