Big-Screened, Big-Batteried Budget Device
We’ve already seen a trio of devices launched by Cherry Mobile’s sub-brand, Cubix, but there’s one last gadget for us to look at. The phone you see in the photo above is the Cherry Mobile Cubix Cube Max; a 6-inch device for those who want a little more screen real estate, but still happen to be on a tight budget.

The Cube Max is packing the same processor as the Play and Play HD — a MediaTek MT6580 — with 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of expandable storage. As the name of the device suggest, you’re getting a big screen and bigger battery capacity with this phone. That’s a 6-inch IPS display at 720p and a 3000mAh removable battery. It’s also the only one in the bunch to get a fingerprint scanner and Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
The rest of the products unveiled today were still engineering units, but we did get a Cube Max to take home and test out. Stay tuned for its unboxing and quick review soon.
